KÜNZ TRASH RACK CLEANING MECHANISM

Deep tunnel screening of stormflows ahead of retention sewers and remote pump stations, a challenging application which the use of the Künz TRCM (Trash Rack Cleaning Mechanism) has proven to be the most practical answer.

The Künz TRCM will screen bar racks as deep as 350 feet below grade and lift out the gross solids, refrigerators, truck tires, bicycles, logs etc. with combined weights up to 5 tons and speeds of 100 fpm.

The Künz TRCM can be a fixed, stationary device or a travelling surface rail mounted or overhead monorail mounted system. The gripper is designed to drop the solids load directly into a dumpster supplied as part of the system or in the case of travelling units, the solids may be carried outside the screenings building for dropping into a dumpster or onto a loading pad.

The debris is raked to the grade level in an enclosed 'Gripper' which allows drainage to occur ahead of automatic unloading and disposal at the operating floor level.

Fully automated with no mechanism located below grade, the Künz TRCM provides the best solution to cleaning deep shaft screens and positively removing the debris from the shaft.

Safe reliable and extremely rugged, the Künz TRCM is the most economical answer for meeting the extreme challenge of cleaning screens up to 350 feet below grade without operator involvement.
